Privacy policy.
This is what Catalyst ([Company legal name]) collects, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email, a password hash or your Google sign-in, and your plan.
- Connected accounts: the platform tokens the Scheduler needs to post for you, the public profile (handle, avatar) and the public numbers of your posts.
- Catalyst Phones seats: the login of each account you put on a phone, stored encrypted, used only to sign the phone in.
- Your content: the videos, captions and covers you upload to schedule.
- Payment: handled by Stripe. We keep a customer id and your subscription status, never your card number.
- Usage: which pages you open and when, so we can fix what breaks and know what to improve. No advertising trackers.
Why
To run the service you signed up for: posting on your behalf, showing you your numbers, billing you, and answering support. We do not sell data and we do not share it with anyone who is not needed to run the service.
Who sees it
- The platforms you connect (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook) receive the posts you schedule.
- Our posting partners that operate the API connections and the phones, under contract, only for your posts.
- Stripe for payment, Supabase for hosting the database and files, Vercel for serving the site.
- Our support team, when you ask for help or when something on your workspace needs fixing.
How long
While you have an account, plus 90 days of read-only after a cancellation so you can come back. Delete your account and everything is removed within 30 days, except invoices we must keep for tax.
Your choices
Disconnect any account or seat at any time. Export or delete your workspace from Settings, or by writing to us. You can ask what we hold about you and we will answer within 30 days.
Security
Encrypted in transit and at rest; platform tokens and phone logins are encrypted with keys kept outside the database; access to production is limited to the people who run the service and is logged.
